As we near the end of 2024, it's a time for reflection on our journey here at PostPods over the past year, including future plans for our collection of isopods.
We have kept isopods for a number of years now and are forever thankful for all our customers and fellow hobbyists who have become firm friends of ours.
We increased the number of show locations in 2024 and have travelled far and wide to meet other fellow hobbyists and supportive customers. We love to meet and greet people in person and talk all things isopods. It's great to share the enthusiasm and love of invertebrates with like-minded people.
A new direction for PostPods in 2024 was joining live podcasts, particularly:
Endless hours to showcase the hobby, share knowledge, with heaps of banter and laughter thrown in.
2024 saw the birth of my nickname 'Slippers' as I do love wearing my slippers at the shows. Too comfy to leave at home.
Our iso-dex (isopod Pokedex) has grown and grown this year but we still have a lot more to collect, so watch this space for 2025.
So what's next for 2025 for PostPods? Definitely more invertebrate shows and podcasts. We will post which events we'll be attending on our social media pages so keep a look out. We shall be keeping our eyes open for more perfect isopods to snap up into our iso-dex. Whilst it's tempting to collect them all, we prefer to be selective which keeps our own personal interest thriving. However, we may have a few new ones to be adding to our collection very soon — watch our new arrivals page for updates.
We have two exciting projects which will hopefully see 2025 with Cubaris Pink Rose Panda Kings and the best quality Ornatus High Yellow. The Pink Rose Panda King project is part of our broader Cubaris work.
We will be closing 2024 with Phil's Fest in Suffolk which we are super excited for. Halloween costumes at the ready and plenty of spooky pods. Trick or Iso-Treat?
Finally, a great big thank you to everyone we have met, who have supported us and our valued customers. Here's to 2025.
