Shipping policy

  • Orders shall be shipped Monday to Thursday for all Royal Mail Next Day and Tracked 24 Delivery mail services. Subject to PostPods discretion orders may also be shipped on Friday and Saturday depending on the order and availability.
  • Orders received before 10am Monday to Thursday will be posted the same day, orders after this time will be posted on the next available postal date.

Postal Method

All live inverts must be posted via Royal Mail only due to postal rules.

Tracked 24 and Next Day Royal Mail delivery is a postal service operated by Royal Mail who have sole responsibility for the handling of any orders once shipped.

Tracked 24 delivery method requests will be posted within 1-2 working days on receipt of your order but may take longer during busy periods.

IMPORTANT: Once PostPods has dispatched an order for onward handling by Royal Mail or other courier, any postal queries, concerns or delivery delays are not within the control of PostPods. Customers must contact Royal Mail, or other courier directly should they have any queries or wish to escalate any concerns.

Order Dispatch

All customers shall receive a confirmation of dispatch e-mail for their records. A tracking number shall be provided.

Where We Deliver

PostPods post to Great Britain only (England, Scotland and Wales). We are unable to send live animals to Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland.

Exceptions

During busy periods, our next-day delivery guarantee applies only to the dispatch of eligible orders on the same working day. It does not guarantee that the order will be delivered the following day, as delivery times may be affected by the courier or circumstances outside of PostPods control.

Where an order contains a large quantity of dry goods, we reserve the right to use an alternative courier and to divide the order into multiple packages. Any livestock included in the order will continue to be dispatched separately using Royal Mail unless we notify you otherwise.

We will make reasonable efforts to inform customers of any significant dispatch delays, courier changes, or split deliveries. These exceptions do not affect your statutory rights.

IMPORTANT: PostPods reserve the right to postpone the dispatch of livestock orders where the weather forecast at the Customer's delivery address is expected to fall below 3°C or in excess of 26°C at any stage of the delivery journey.

Although heat packs are used by PostPods in some orders, their effectiveness may be reduced at very low temperatures. PostPods do not use cool packs in any of our orders. Any postponement will be made with the welfare of the livestock as our priority.
