Repashy SuperFoods Crested Gecko Mango Tango is a complete meal-replacement powder, an MRP, made in the USA by Repashy Ventures. It is designed first and foremost as an everyday diet for crested geckos and other fruit-eating gecko species, and the standout is a strong mango and banana flavour that drives enthusiastic feeding even from fussy individuals. Geckos that turn their noses up at blander foods will often tuck straight into this one, which makes it a dependable choice when you are settling a nervous newcomer or coaxing a picky adult back onto a routine.
What you are getting is a full balanced diet from a single tub, which is the whole point of an MRP: you are not juggling live insects, fresh fruit and separate supplements to keep an animal healthy. The formula carries a minimum of around a fifth protein, drawn from both plant and insect sources, alongside a good level of calcium and a complete vitamin profile, so it can stand as a gecko's sole nutrition. Real dried fruits such as mango, banana, date and fig sit behind that big flavour, with black soldier fly larvae meal carrying much of the insect protein. That mix of plant and insect protein mirrors the way these geckos actually eat in the wild, taking fallen fruit and the odd insect as they find them, so a fruit-only food would leave them short.
Preparation is quick. Unlike the gel premixes elsewhere in the Repashy range, this MRP mixes straight into cold water and thickens in seconds, with no boiling and no waiting for a gel to set, so daily feeding stays a small job rather than a chore. If you keep inverts, this is where it earns a second use: isopods take it readily as a fruity, calcium-rich protein treat. Put a small smear on a dish or a piece of bark, let your isopods and other inverts find it in their own time, and lift any leftovers before they spoil. It is a treat for them rather than a staple, so keep the portions light and occasional. If you want a food built specifically for a springtail and isopod clean-up crew, Morning Wood is the dedicated option.
A shallow feeding dish keeps things tidy and makes any leftovers easy to lift, and you will find suitable ones in our accessories range. The dry powder itself stores sealed and cool for a long time, so a single tub goes a long way whether you are feeding a crested gecko every few days or just topping up an invert enclosure now and then.
