Tom Marsh — the man who got me into the world of isopods — runs Exotic Empire, a UK invertebrate hobby brand making 3D-printed accessories for terrariums and invertebrate enclosures. We've known Tom for years through the UK invert community, and what he makes is properly designed by someone who actually keeps inverts and has solved real keeper problems through trial and error rather than guesswork.

Our current Exotic Empire stock is the Screw In Air Vents — properly the most useful single-product Tom makes for hobby keepers. They're 3D-printed plastic vents that screw into pre-drilled holes in plastic tubs (Braplast tubs and similar), giving you customisable cross-flow ventilation while preventing escape. Properly essential if you're building your own enclosure setups from plastic containers, or modifying existing tubs for better airflow.
