Six more isopods from the shop, drawn as stickers: the Scarlet, the Shiny Gator, the Crystal Pineapple, the Cherry Blossom, the Magic Potion and the Black Ribs. Claire, my fiancée, designs and makes every PostPods sticker, and this second isopod pack has no species in common with the first.
Each design is printed on holographic silver star vinyl, a glossy surface scattered with tiny stars that flash with colour as the light moves across them. The vinyl and the print are both waterproof, so they wipe clean, and the adhesive is permanent, so they stay put on any clean, smooth surface.

Scarlet isopod (Ardentiella sp.): a curled crimson body splashed with yellow and banded with deep navy

Shiny Gator isopod (Isopoda sp.): a knobbly mauve back with a peach face and tail

Black Ribs isopod (Porcellio succinctus): a white-edged back banded in blue-black, with long antennae and uropods
They were made with keepers in mind. A sticker on the side of a culture tub or an enclosure is an easy way to mark what lives inside, and they look just as good on a laptop, a phone case, a water bottle or a notebook.
